To be sold at the Wenatchee
Valley Farmers Market, produce must be grown in the 3-county area and sold by
the grower (or his representative-whether family or employee). If a
particular product is not grown here (seafood, for example), other Washington
state growers may be permitted to sell at this market.
Likewise, craft items must be created by the vendor.
There is no re-selling permitted. Isn't it amazing what talents our local
folks demonstrate!
And processed foods must be made from basic and, insofar as
possible, local ingredients - no mixes allowed.
At our market, Produce vendors are given preference. It
is, after all, a Farmers Market. Crafters and Processors must make room
for farmers and orchardists when stall space becomes limited.
Because our vendors are your friends and neighbors, you can
be sure they're careful to bring you the freshest, best eating possible!!
Enjoy!!
"We're growing for you!!"
